Is an administration of a minimum doze of medical carbon dioxide into acupuncture points (b). It is one of the ways of influencing the body through stimulation applied in specific points on the skins surface. It is applied directly to areas of pain and also positively effects muscle tone, muscle spasms or initiating points. The method is often used for neuralgic indications, paresthetic conditions and for several other indications.
The local administration of carbon dioxide amplifies the affect of acupuncture, making the stimulation of acupuncture points stronger and longer. The stimulation of acupuncture points may be performed also using lasers.
