Nordic walking

Nordic walking has been adapted from cross-country skiing. It incorporates specially designed poles with fitness walking. The poles feature rubber tips allowing walkers to traverse on and off pavement. Nordic Walking is credited with helping our guests to burn more calories during a walk, increase energy consumption, reduce stress to knees and lower joints and reduce stress levels.

This excercise takes place in the natural environment of the Spa Island. We recommend sport/outdoor dress and conformable sport shoes. During the rainy season this activity takes place in the gymnasium – as a special exercise NW Stretching. We would like to invite you to join one of our regular Nordic walking groups and discover the powers of this dynamic exercise.
